Smart Country Convention at Messe Berlin

The Smart Country Convention (SCCON) at Messe Berlin is one of the most influential events in Germany in the field of digital innovation and smart governance. Governments, technology companies and knowledge institutions come together here to work on the future of smart cities and digital infrastructures. For this edition, QuickSpace was asked to provide multiple acoustic structures combining flexibility, functionality and design.

The goal: to create an environment where visitors could work, confer and participate in interactive sessions in peace amid the hustle and bustle of an international trade fair.

The challenge

SCCON's organization was looking for a solution that would allow both small meetings and interactive presentations to take place, without permanent construction or sound problems. The spaces also had to visually match the modern, technological nature of the event.

The solution

QuickSpace provided a versatile setup consisting of 5 Office Pods, 2 Cubes and 3 of our new black Domes (Model 2).

• Office Pods were spread throughout the grounds and set up as small, quiet workspaces. Visitors could answer emails, hold short meetings or work in concentration for a while here - away from the fair crowd.
• The Cubes functioned as compact consultation and presentation rooms, with a clean, professional look and excellent acoustics.
• The new black Domes (Model 2) were the centerpiece of the lineup. These were used as Experience Labs and presentation rooms, hosting interactive demonstrations and inspiring talks. Thanks to their height and improved acoustic performance, they provided an impressive yet comfortable environment for speakers and audiences.

The use of the new black line gave it a modern, high-quality look that perfectly matched the event's visual identity.

The result

The spaces were built within one day and were immediately ready for use. Visitors and organizers especially praised the professional look of the structures. Thanks to their modular nature, the spaces could be easily adapted to the day's program, from presentations to breakout sessions.

Collaboration with the organization was smooth and efficient, and the result showed once again how QuickSpace adds value to modern events with its sustainable, reusable structures.

With the setup at Messe Berlin, QuickSpace proved that acoustics, speed and design can go hand in hand.
